Rooted In Christ

Jeremiah 17:
7 “But blessed is the one who trusts in the LORD, 
whose confidence is in him. 
8 They will be like a tree planted by the water 
that sends out its roots by the stream. 
It does not fear when heat comes;
its leaves are always green.
It has no worries in a year of drought
and never fails to bear fruit.”

Spiritual Fullness in Christ

Colossians 2

 ⁶ So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live your lives in him, ⁷rooted and built up in him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness.

 ⁸ See to it that no one takes you captive through hollow and deceptive philosophy, which depends on human tradition and the elemental spiritual forces^[a] of this world rather than on Christ.

feast on His Word.

If you use what is given to you, you will gain more. If you fail to use what is given to you, you will lose even that which you have. Matt. 25: 14-29


As 2012 comes in I sense a knowing. I am intend to use this blog to privately keep track of the rhema God sends me.

peaceful day

I am blessed with a very peaceful day. The Bible says that Jesus comes to give us peace.

 " I have told you these things, so that in Me you may have [perfect] peace and confidence. In the world you have tribulation and trials and distress and frustration; but be of good cheer [take courage; be confident, certain, undaunted]! For I have overcome the world. [I have deprived it of power to harm you and have conquered it for you.] "
JOHN 16:33

I thank Him today for it.
